Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Twin Hoops Academy. By registering for our programs, clinics, or digital training services, you (the "Participant" or "Parent/Guardian") agree to the following terms and conditions

1. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Basketball is a physically demanding contact sport. I acknowledge that participation in Twin Hoops Academy programs—including live play, situational reads, and technical skill development—involves inherent risks of physical injury.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. I hereby release, waive, and discharge Twin Hoops Academy, its coaches, trainers, facility providers, and staff from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of injury, damage, or loss sustained during training sessions or events.

2. Medical Clearance & Emergency Authorization

I certify that the participating athlete is physically fit and has no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation.
In the event of an emergency where a Parent/Guardian cannot be reached, I authorize Twin Hoops Academy staff to secure necessary medical treatment for the athlete.

3. Memberships, Clinics & Payment Policies

Weekly Development Memberships: Memberships grant access to scheduled group sessions. Memberships may not be cancelled within 8 weeks of the date of registration. If you wish to cancel, you must give us 14 days notice. We will then cancel your membership, however, you will be liable to pay the Membership Fee payable to the end of the next payment cycle (weekly).
Single Clinics & Events: Registrations for one-off clinics are non-refundable.
Session Cancellations: Twin Hoops Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to facility availability, coach illness, or severe weather.

4. Digital Tools & Remote Training Consent

Twin Hoops Academy utilizes digital applications for remote assignments, analytics, and "skills, not drills" development. By participating, you consent to the creation of athlete profiles within our designated third-party software stack.
Video shot breakdowns and mechanical analyses are core components of our training. You consent to the athlete being filmed during sessions solely for the purpose of technical feedback and player development.

5. Media & Marketing Release

I grant Twin Hoops Academy permission to capture photographs and video footage of the athlete during training sessions and clinics.
I authorize the use of these media materials for promotional purposes, including social media, website content, and digital marketing. (If you wish to opt-out of the marketing release, please contact us directly prior to your first session.)

6. Youth Athlete Safeguarding & Code of Conduct

Athletes are expected to demonstrate respect for coaches, peers, and facilities. Disruptive behavior, bullying, or failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the session or program without a refund.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for the timely drop-off and pick-up of athletes for all physical sessions.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

While our digital resources and remote training programs are accessible globally, Twin Hoops Academy operates entirely under the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Victorian law.
